ReachIvy hosts Speaker Series - London Business School

On the February 17, ReachIvy hosted Speaker Series, an initiative to help students learn from the experience of others who have studied at their dream universities and get a deep understanding of the dynamics of the study abroad experience. The event was hosted at Indian Merchants Chamber, Churchgate in Mumbai.

The topic for discussion was "London Business School – Grooming Visionaries" with Manish Chokhani, MD & CEO of Axis Capital Ltd. (ACL) and Pratik Agarwal, Head, Infrastructure of Vedanta Group, both alumni of London Business School (LBS).

The talk was moderated by Vibha Kagzi, founder and CEO, Reach Education Private Limited. Vibha holds an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School and a BSc degree from Carnegie Mellon University. She is a member of the executive council of the Harvard Club of Mumbai, the Carnegie Mellon Admissions Council and the Indian Merchants' Chamber's Education Committee.

The discussion took off with how an International Baccalaureate (IB) programme at the high school level and a globally recognized MBA degree after graduation provides an edge in spurring career growth in today’s highly competitive and continuously evolving business scenario. The speakers candidly shared specific learnings from the LBS MBA programme that had been instrumental in their professional success, their experience and views on entrepreneurship and how to make the most out of a study abroad programme. All in all, the talk proved very enlightening for the audience comprising mainly of aspiring students.
