The COVID-19 (CO-Corona, Vi-Virus and D-Disease) pandemic approached as a slow wave of unfavorable difficulty eventually progressed as a dominant challenge with a snowballing incidence rates of Morbidity and Mortality.
Globally and Nationally the governments enforced lockdowns to curb the transmission of virus as a preventive and precautionary measure. This modified the standard operating procedures of numerous organizations that shifted to a remote working option (Work from Home) to keep safe the workforce from infections and also to carry out its activities. As a consequence, diversified changes and challenges have been confronted by individualist throughout.
Every set of circumstances comprises of both positive and negative facets. It is among ourselves to see favorableness and fortune in every hardship. Thereby I would like to give my perspective with regards to the ongoing situation.
Human beings have always been selfish in their needs and have constantly harmed nature in every possible way. Seldom we remembered that we owe to nature as well. This Quarantine epoch has been a boon to nature as it has adopted a healing phenomenon and seems to be a pleasing episode. Many rivers are getting clearer and cleaner. Levels of pollution and carbon monoxide appears to be decreasing due to reduction in human activities. Beyond this pandemic we must ensure the significance.
As one would observe, over the past years we humans only paid heed to just earn a living and galloped for a lavish lifestyle. The fact that contentment and peace were of paramount importance for the overall development of humanity was abandoned. We were so diligent that hardly we remembered the purpose of life.
Being within the four walls with our beloved one’s and working from home simultaneously defined a balanced life with fulfillment, which instilled happiness and deep affection among family members. Family bonds are strengthening as one is able to spend ample amount of time with family members which wasn’t observed due to hectic schedules. Home cooked meal is considered as the most authentic one and most are less reliant on eateries. Quarantine has made us realize the importance of freedom which we hardly appreciated pre-lockdown days. Many creative ideas are budding and most are utilizing time in an efficient way by giving wings to their passions and also by learning to explore and grow.
As we assimilate some admiring aspects of Quarantine, there are also unfriendly facets. Those being the miseries of the individuals throughout. Many innocent lives departed for their heavenly endeavors.
Giving a thought, just imagining when this microscopic specimen being mutated form could upturn circumstances in implausible manner. Then humans must be aware that we are also progressing towards mutation by lieing, being malicious, keeping grudges etc. So what would be its impact on our surroundings in mere future? So it’s the right time to analyze and purify ourselves as well, both externally and internally and to serve humanity in the most virtuous manner. Time to think, reflect and act.
There isn’t a good teacher like a mother, appears like mother earth gave a knock to strengthen and internalize us. Fresh air, nutritious food and gratitude for gift of life is a key to wellbeing that was forgotten in the past days. Happiness lies in togetherness and simplicity is a strong message this pandemic taught. The concept of balanced life, positive mental attitude and psychosocial stability must be incorporated to attain utmost peace and joy. We must strive to protect our environment and maintain harmony. Thereby, let us adopt the attitude of humbleness and kindness towards each other and spread contentment all over.
